multidisciplinary artist

about

The artist, wearing a tshirt and cap, leans over his installation "Ghost Loop". This is a wooden cabinet containing magnetic tape.

Mat Denney is an emerging multi-disciplinary artist and lecturer living in London, UK.

His work plays at the intersection of analogue and digital, encompassing interaction design, physical computing, film, sound, spoken word, code, photography and printmaking.

His experience of queerness and neurodivergence is expressed through the uncanniness of materials, spaces and machines; and the materiality of processes and energy.
